Responsibilities

Patient Interaction

• Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile
• Communicate clearly and openly with patients about treatment options and related costs; handle objections to proposed treatment
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment

Administrative & Financial

• Use multiple computer programs to manage data and treatment plan tasks related to patient information
• Determine dental benefit eligibility and payment estimates to facilitate financial arrangements, when applicable
• Handle all treatment paperwork, including consent forms, insurance forms, and exit paperwork

Compliance

• Maintain strict compliance with state, federal, and other regulations (OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook)

Requirements

• 1+ years of practical experience, including medical/dental front desk experience and medical/dental insurance verification experience
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
• Commitment to punctuality and reliable attendance
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Desire and ability to learn new skills; strong team player
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire for professional growth
• Organized, with solid knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
