Responsibilities

• Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile
• Use multiple computer programs to manage data and treatment plan tasks related to patient information
• Determine dental benefit eligibility and payment estimates necessary to facilitate financial arrangements, when applicable
• Handle all treatment paperwork, including consent forms, insurance forms, and exit paperwork
• Communicate clearly and openly with patients about their treatment options and related costs, and be prepared to handle objections to proposed treatment
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment
• Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook)

Requirements

• One (1) or more years of practical experience, including medical or dental front desk experience and medical or dental insurance verification experience
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
• Commitment to being punctual and reporting to work on time
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Desire and ability to learn new skills and be a team player
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth
• Organized, with a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
