Orthodontic Scheduling Coordinator 


Pay: $35+/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

Scheduling & Front Office

  • Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile
  • Provide excellent customer service and address scheduling-related inquiries or concerns
  • Update, maintain, and coordinate the scheduling system and patient records for multiple providers
  • Answer scheduling queries via email and phone
  • Confirm appointments and obtain patient consents
  • Send appointment reminders to patients
  • Reschedule appointments when necessary
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize scheduling processes and improve efficiency
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required

Clinical Support

  • Take X-rays and assist in the back as needed
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment

Compliance

  • Maintain strict compliance with state, federal, and other regulations (OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook)


Requirements


  • Proficiency in scheduling software and basic computer skills
  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Commitment to punctuality and reliable attendance
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Desire and ability to learn new skills; strong team player
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire for professional growth
  • Organized, with solid knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
  • X-Ray Certification:  This is a great opportunity for an RDA looking to move over to the front office
