Responsibilities
Patient Interaction
- Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile
- Communicate with patients about their status and condition via email, phone, text, and face-to-face conversations
- Schedule patient visits and answer questions, including billing and preparation
Administrative
- Use multiple computer programs to manage data and chart tasks related to patient information
- Maintain and update patient accounts with contact, insurance, and financial information in a confidential manner
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment
Compliance
- Maintain strict compliance with state, federal, and other regulations (OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook)
Requirements
- 1+ years of practical experience, dental front desk experience and dental insurance verification experience
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
- Commitment to punctuality and reliable attendance
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Desire and ability to learn new skills; strong team player
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and desire for professional growth
- Organized, with solid knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
- Bilingual - English/Spanish required
