Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop comprehensive treatment plans using accepted clinical and radiographic techniques
• Provide high-quality pediatric dental care in a compassionate, child-centered environment
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options
• Refer patients to dental specialists when appropriate
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-focused clinical environment
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, state dental board regulations, and all applicable federal and state guidelines
• Travel between Weis Dental practice locations as needed
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience while promoting lifelong oral health

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school
• Completion of a CODA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency program
• Active Virginia dental license (or ability to obtain)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Dentistry, or committed to achieving certification through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
• Strong clinical knowledge and sound judgment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, professional, and team-oriented
• Passion for serving children and families
• Willingness to travel between Weis Dental locations
